Caleb Cox is a pastor and spiritual formation practitioner with a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Spiritual Formation from Portland Seminary at George Fox University, Portland, Oregon, and a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. Caleb serves as a pastor in the Lutheran Church. His ministry focuses on helping people recognize God’s presence not only in gathered worship but also in the ordinary rhythms of everyday life.
Caleb developed Near & Now: Everyday Encounters with God as a spiritual formation resource to help bridge the gap between Sunday worship and weekday living. Rooted in Scripture, Lutheran theology, and the lived experience of congregational life, the Cross-Shaped Rhythm invites individuals, households, and communities to cultivate attentiveness to God’s nearness in ordinary moments such as waking, working, eating, resting, and waiting.
Caleb lives in Northern Colorado with his wife, Kristen, and their two boys. He enjoys cycling, mountain biking, hiking, CrossFit, and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and Chelsea FC.
